South Wales School of Reflexology is a teaching body for I.T.E.C.-International Therapies Examination Council. The course curriculum has been accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority – a government regulatory body on behalf of the Department of Education for setting course standards for complementary therapies.
These level 3 diplomas are registered on the National Qualifications Framework in the UK. They are also recognised and supported by industries not only within the UK but also worldwide.
All complementary therapists must pass the level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology (or have similar qualifications) and pass the Business Awareness and Professional Conduct Diploma as well as their chosen therapy to qualify for professional I.T.E.C. status.
Once the Anatomy and Physiology and Business Awareness and Professional Conduct qualifications have been achieved students are no longer required to sit these again if they wish to study further therapies.
Those students who have alternative qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology may wish to contact I.T.E.C. to have their case individually reviewed.
It is highly recommended that all students have a current first aid qualification.
